Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build relations with new customers and maintain a customer database
  • Prepare and execute sales action plans
  • Learn and distribute sales and promotional materials
  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients (cold-calling, prospecting, follow-up on company-provided leads)
  • Monitor and follow-up with potential clients
  • Meet or exceed defined goals (calls volumes, sales, etc.)

Skills and Experience

  • Must have great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 1-3 years call experience in a high-volume outbound sales-type role
  • Be persuasive, with good negotiation skills (good people skills)
  • Must be energetic, confident, and persistent
  • Should know about basic customer service and business principles
  • Must be able to achieve sales targets
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • Insurance Clearinghouse Services is a plus, but not mandatory
  • College degree is preferred but not required
  • A background in Customer Service or Marketing is a plus

VisionWeb, a leading player in the optical industry with the largest customer base, is seeking a Sales Account Executive who is results-driven, proactive and determined to join our team. This position is responsible for initiating and building lasting relationships with eye care physicians, and driving sales growth with our EHR software, Uprise. As a driving force for Uprise, you will actively ensure member service levels are of the highest quality, assist with the company vision of nation-wide success, engage in outside sales, and deliver the value our service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish a trusted sales advisor relationship with each assigned lead/account and drive continued value of our products and services.
  • Conduct direct sales activities via phone calls, email and face-to-face interactions
  • Prospect, develop and follow up on leads, which include: Increasing adoption (sales), ensuring retention, and satisfaction.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and monthly sales forecast, as well as activity tracking within VisionWeb’s CRM.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows, associations, supplier meetings and other marketing presentations
  • Prepare, deliver and close sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Customer Success teams to ensure successful implementation of customer solutions.
  • Maintain primary day-to-day contact with suppliers to ensure member sales and service levels are of high quality
  • Sell the value of Upirse to prospects by articulating how our solutions meet their needs and improve their business process.
  • Proactively engage with current customers to look for upselling opportunities and ensure satisfaction.
  • Work to identify and/or develop upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years (5) of documented eye care practice management (PM) and electronic health record (EHR) sales history exceeding sales quotas.
  • Comfortable navigating complex sales cycles, including ability to manage deals with stakeholders
  • Thrives at efficiency and rapid deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong lead generation skills and disciplined sales administration skills.
  • Experience working inside a CRM system, preferably Salesforce, and within a defined sales process.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous value of our product(s).
  • Familiarity working with customers of all sizes.
  • Impeccable oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Strong team player as well as a self-starter
  • Thrives in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly.
  • Proficient in eye care delivery model, workflows including exams.
  • Must be able to maintain strong, positive professional relationships with internal and external customers.
